NanoTRAINO can save lives in an emergency

NanoTRAINO is a portable, light, and durable prop that every winter sports enthusiast should carry with them. Weighting less than 640g, nanoTRAINO is the size of a water bottle and can unfold in seconds into an emergency stretcher.

To avoid packed mountain resorts, more and more seasoned and passionate adventurers prefer off-piste trails and untrodden routes that, in addition to high adrenaline levels, also harbor dangers. Alexandre and Sébastien are two of those who always have safety at heart. This is why they developed a simple and resistant sled stretcher to act quickly in case of an accident.

both for outdoor enthusiasts & emergency responders

Innovated by the sports duo, NanoTRAINO (see more here) was initially designed for the Adventure Tourism program at Cégep de Gaspé. Folded as a sleeping bag, it can be set up in any everyday backpack or even a bike’s skeleton. In just a few movements, the folded bag can be transformed into a sled or a stretcher to transport an injured person. The designers recommend users have first-aid training and proper practice before using this sled for an actual rescue.
