Challenge :
Designing an “Instant Home” for families with child (1 adult and 1 child) in which they can enjoy their lives and study. Your design solution is required to be designed so that it could be assembled within 24 hours.
Schedule of Accommodation:
2x beds
1x writing desk/ table of 60cm x 90cm x 75cm (H) or similar size for studying by kids 1 set x toilet , washing basin and shower, shared or private
1x windows of glass area 4 sq.m including openable and fixed glazed area
Inspiration from Nature : Your design is required to feature the spatial quality of the architecture of your selected animal / insect / plant;
Your solution is required to highlight the SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 11 (Sustainable cities and communities) as laid down by United Nations (https://sdgs.un.org/goals)
Design Outputs (Mandatory):
1 x physical model of any material (paper, foamboard, recycled plastic,... etc) (size depends on your design) and 4 x photos (at least) of it will be required
1 x digital model in SketchUP (.skp), or Rhino (.3dm), or Blender and 4 x camera view images (at least) of it will be required
1 x handsketch of A4-size
1 x Artist’s impression image (A4-size or A3 size), either watercolor/acrylic/ marker hand-
drawn artworks, or digital photomontage
1 x video of 1-3 mins showing the installation sequence of how to install the Instant Home
1x article of 200 words (Senior Group) / 100 words (Junior Group) of the submitted design
concepts and potential application and positive impacts to the societies.
1 x layout plan (A4-sized) and sectional drawing (A4-sized) (Senior Group ONLY)

(1) How you kick start your design concept at the beginning
(2) How you develop and shortlist your solution during the middle process
(3) How you conclude your design solution by sharing your vision for the positive contribution
to the study environment of kids and their mental well-being, and the support to the development of societies.
