Ebay Motors Group reveals top 10 fastest selling used EVs for June

Audi Q8 e-tron

Ebay Motors Group has revealed the fastest selling used electric vehicle for June, with all selling in under 28 days.

The Audi Q8 e-tron premium electric SUV topped the chart for June, taking just two weeks to sell.

The DS 3 E-tense was in second place (14.3 days) and the Volvo XC40 was at number three (15.1 days).

Lucy Tugby, eBay Motors Group marketing director, said: “The continued high demand among operators for used EV vans was demonstrated by the Ford E Transit selling in just 26 days.

“However, days to sell for used EVs slowed in June compared to May when the SsangYong Korando sold in just eight days and the top nine placed models all sold in under 21 days.

“This slower rate of sales was despite reduced supply with EV stock volumes dropping to 4% month-on-month, an indicator that dealers opted to de-risk on the back of the recent price instability.”

June’s notable upwards price moves included examples of the Peugeot 208 (up 20% to £22,865), Renault Zoe (up 15% to £26,191 and BMW i4 (up 15% to £68,232).

While heavy falls were recorded by versions of the Mercedes EQA (down 15% to £49,777), Renault Zoe (down 13% to £18,165) and Kia Niro (down 12% to £24,914).
