Unlock the value of automotive finance at AM Live

This month’s AM Live will feature an interactive panel discussion that will explore how retailers can unlock future opportunities through automotive finance.

The UK’s leading motor retail exhibition and seminar show is back at the NEC, Birmingham on November 9.

Rachael Jones, Auto Trader’s director of automotive finance, will set the scene with some market context and how automotive finance is evolving in the UK.

Jones will be joined by leaders in the automotive finance industry, including Alex Hughes, Credit Agricole’s UK’s managing director, Paul Hyne, Black Horse Motor Finance commercial director and Steve Catlin, Volvo Car Financial Services managing director.

As well as exploring how retailers can utilise finance to open up profit opportunities in their business, the panel will be discussing varied topics around the role of finance in electric vehicle buying and selling, how rising APRs have affected the market, challenges  around affordability, as well as looking at opportunities to grow finance penetration.

Jones said: “Finance is such a hugely important part of the customer journey for car buyers and there are many elements that are rapidly evolving and changing.

“This panel session will also dig into the details around areas like EVs, facilitating finance online and the many opportunities and challenges facing retailers right now and in the years to come.”

AM Live provides an unrivalled opportunity to network and interact with peers and manufacturer representatives to explore how automotive retail will transform in 2023 and beyond, all while equipping delegates with strategies to future-proof their businesses.

The seminar content across the day will be split between Digital, Sales, Aftersales and Strategy, covering all the biggest industry topics including the agency retail model, disruptor EV brands entering the UK market, finance, used car data science, used electric vehicle profits and more.
