Hybrid and electric car servicing now target of Eurorepar garage network

Members of the Eurorepar Car Service network will be gearing up to target owners of hybrid and electric vehicles from later this year.

The multi-brand repair and maintenance network is extending its 'EV Label' programme, which launched in the Netherlands last year and had 50% uptake from member workshops, into the UK in the coming months.

Workshops will be required to have a 22 kWh charging station at least to help their customers keep mobile.

"The EV label is already a reality in the Netherlands and will continue to be deployed throughout the year 2024. This new service is an important step forward for the Eurorepar Car Service network which enriches its offer with a professional service, while maintaining the "fair price" positioning since its beginnings. Our offer seduces many customers wishing to have their vehicle maintained in a nearby garage, at competitive prices, and without compromise on the quality of the services," said Luca Parasacco, SVP Stellantis global head of parts and service distribution and service networks and chief executive of Eurorepar Car Service.

"The fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles will continue to grow. In this context, we felt it was essential to make the maintenance of electrified vehicles more accessible to final and professional customers within our multi-brand maintenance and repair network."

The deployment of this new label for the maintenance of hybrid and electric vehicles shows Eurorepar Car Service is now prepared for the electrification growth of the European car park and is guaranteeing its customers the assurance of trained and qualified teams owning the necessary equipment to service electrified vehicles in safety and in strict compliance with the manufacturer's maintenance plans to preserve the warranty of the vehicle and its traction battery.
